Pehchaan Media: from a WordPress template to a site their team runs

Summary

Pehchaan Media is a PR and creator-management agency for India's finance creators. It manages 200+ creators, builds their brand partnerships with fintech companies and runs live trading events, including Market Sangam and Elephant Club.

Its site ran on a bought WordPress and Elementor template. The template's placeholder text was still live, the pages showed two different phone numbers, 35 MB of images loaded unoptimised, there were no meta descriptions or share tags, and every change needed a developer.

What we did

Website

• Home, services, a creator roster with filters, an events gallery, about and contact, in Pehchaan's own navy and amber
• A palette sampled from their logo, with text contrast checked to AAA
• Images served as AVIF and WebP, sized for phones and laptops

Content as data

• Creators, events, photos, client logos and testimonials live in a database instead of page-builder widgets
• The old site's copy, creators and events moved over, the template text removed

Admin

• Dashboard with counts and the latest enquiries
• Editors for creators, projects and events, client logos and testimonials, with photo upload
• Enquiries with a status, from a checked contact form that also emails the team, with spam protection
• Only listed admins can change anything, enforced in the database

Search and AI

• A title, description, canonical and share image on every page
• Sitemap, robots.txt and structured data for the organisation, its founder, the creator roster and events
• Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights
