Ask your delivery data anything.

Summary

Cool Running Software, in Ohio, runs routes, deliveries and invoicing for ice companies. Each company's data sits in its own warehouse, but getting an answer out of it meant a report request or a spreadsheet.

Cool Running wanted owners and dispatchers to just ask: which stores are slipping, how last July compared, what the heat next week means for orders.

What we did

Ask in plain English

  • Google Gemini writes the query and streams its answer as a table, chart or CSV
  • Conversations kept per licence, with PDF and CSV export

Safe by design

  • Read-only: one code path to the data, a single SELECT only
  • The server picks the database, never the model; every query audited

Knows the business

  • Weather history back to 1940 and a 15-day forecast, to compare ice sales with the heat
  • "How do I…" answers from Cool Running's own blog and training videos, with sources

Comes to you

  • Three to five insights a month for each company, by email and on the home screen

Run as a product

  • Plans, seats, coupons and a billing API
  • An admin portal with prompt versions, conversations, usage and an audit log

Built with

  • React
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Node.js
  • Express
  • PostgreSQL
  • pgvector
  • SQL Server
  • Google Gemini
  • AWS
P26 delivered our QuickBooks API weeks before it was due. They took the time to understand our unique business rules and handled adjustments with great patience. We couldn't be more pleased with their work and have already signed them for a much larger development project. Highly recommended for international collaboration.
