Summary
Cool Running Software, in Ohio, runs routes, deliveries and invoicing for ice companies. Their bookkeepers then typed the same sales into QuickBooks by hand: every customer, invoice and payment, every day.
Cool Running wanted its ice companies to connect their own QuickBooks and send the day's sales across in one go, following the way Cool Running handles terms, surcharges and private-label receipts.

Connect
- Sign in with the Cool Running account and pick a licence
- Each ice company connects its own QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's sign-in
Export
- The day's sales by export group and date
- Customers, items with surcharges, terms, payment methods, classes, locations and tax codes set up on the way
- Invoices, credit memos for negative sales, and payments for cash, card and check sales
Reliable
- Three-phase export through the QuickBooks Batch API, 30 at a time, with retries
- Duplicates caught, errors saved on each sale, every run logged

- Edit a receipt number before export, view a sale's full data
- Unmark a sale in Cool Running and send it again
