Every car service near every airport.

Summary

Basecamp Transportation runs Bien Chauffeured, a private chauffeur service for Napa and Sonoma wine country, with airport and private aviation transfers across Northern California.

Clients fly in from everywhere, so Basecamp needs trusted operators near many airports for affiliate and farm-out work. Finding and keeping track of them meant searching maps airport by airport and copying details into spreadsheets that went stale.

What we did

Search

  • Google Places text search for limo and car services in a 50 km box around each airport
  • Every results page, 20 operators a page

Database

  • Each operator upserted into Oracle APEX by Google place ID: name, address, phones, rating, reviews, website, Maps link and business status
  • New ones inserted, known ones refreshed, no duplicates

Stats

  • Operators per airport and the time of the last sync

Schedule

  • Four runs a day in n8n, resuming the airport list where the last run stopped
  • Rate-limit backoff, retries and short waits between pages and airports
